Author of ANOTHER Unveil Plans To Do A Sequel
Yes, there’ll be another light novel that will feature the mysterious turn of events in Mei Misaki’s school. Yukito Ayatsuji, the writer of the famous horror light novel Another had reportedly stated through his Twitter account that he wants to start publishing part two of his novel this year. However, he’s contemplating on which plots he will be going to use. He added on his reports that the new novel might touch the 2001 or 2009 storyline and probably start to serialize this fall in a “certain monthly magazine.”
Another is adapted on manga by Hiro Kiyohara last May 2010 and January 2010 in the issues of Kadokawa Shoten. Then, P.A Works (famous in their works Angel Beats and Red Data Girl) produced the anime that was aired between January 10 to March 27, 2012. A live action film was released last August 2, 2012.
