Hunter X Hunter (Movie) and AKB0048 (Series) to be Released in 2013
A new movie for Hunter x Hunter was announced. The title will be Gekijouban Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge which will premiere on January 12, 2013. It will be an original story with Kurapika as the main character. He seeks revenge to the Phantom Troupe who massacred his clan.
The official site have also started streaming the teaser trailer. According to the staff, it will be a dramatic action film with an original story. The Phantom Troupe will have an appearance in the movie and the rouge in the title pertains to the Kurapika’s ancestry, the Kurta clan.
Announcement of AKB0048's new anime
The last episode of AKB0048 which aired last Sunday ended with an announcement as what you see in the above photo. The short clip can also be found in the anime’s official site. However, no updates yet if this will be the second season.
