KAMISAMA HAJIMEMASHITA Gets Its Second Anime Season!
In this year’s 17th issue of Hakusensha’s Hana To Yume magazine, it was announced that Julietta Suzuki’s Kamisama Hajimemashita (or Kamisama Kiss) will be getting its second anime season.
The story is about a girl named Nanami who found herself alone after his father left her. She saves a strange man named Mikage and as a token of appreciation to her kindness, he offers her his house. Being homeless, Nanami accepts the token only to find out that it is a Shinto shrine. It just so happened that Mikage is a deity and bestowed his status and his yokai to Nanami. Furthermore, a contract should happen between the deity and his yokai to confirm her status and can be only sealed by a kiss.
This manga was launched in Hana To Yume in 2008, and has seen 18 volumes since May. The series was also adapted as a 13-episode anime and was streamed by Funimation.
