New Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto Movie Announced
It was announced at Anime Business Forum +2012 the chief producer of MBS, Takeda Seiji, a movie project for the mecha-anime Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto.
Takeda mentioned that the sexy scenes could have been the reason why the TV series have low ratings. This makes the children to refrain from watching with their parents. He said that they should have aired it at night or included the scenes on the DVD.
The original 25-episode anime series is about a boy named Takuto Tsunashi who swims from the main island to the Southern Cross Isle. He enrolled to the island’s high school, which happens to have a deep secret — there are about 20 giant humanoid machines underground.
Igarashi Takuya of Soul Eater directed the series with Yoji Enokido (screenwriter), Ito Yoshiyuki (character design), and Kousaki Satoru (composer).
