Sailor Moon Crystal Gets A Second Season!
You read it right. Yesterday on Animate Girls Festival 2014 event, Toei Animation confirmed that Pretty Guardian Soldier Sailor Moon Crystal anime series will be having it’s second season.
Last July, the company announced that the new anime will be having 26 episodes, not yet confirming that they will split it into two seasons.
The new season will feature Chibiusa and the second major arc in the manga which is the Black Moon.
Also released in the same event was the anime’s poster where it featured the five Sailor Soldiers and Sailor Chibi Moon in the middle.
Reprising her role in the series is Kotono Mitsuishi as Usagi Tsukino, together with the rest of the cast. Directing the new season is Munehisa Sakai and penning the script is Yuji Kobayashi.
Season 2’s theme song will feature Momoiro Clover Z.
Excited? We are too! Second season will kick off in January 2015.
