Kotobukiya Elektra Marvel Bishoujo

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! The popular Marvel Bishoujo collection (combining iconic superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings) continues to bring you the amazing beauties of the Marvel Universe as you’ve never seen them before. Next up in this line is a woman whom a lot of collectors have been requesting, Elektra! Born to a Greek family (with varying back stories), Elektra Natchios suffered the tragedy of watching the murder of her father.

Turning to a life of martial arts, she became a skilled ninja with the Hand. Alternating between hero and villain Elektra has had a long history with the valiant Daredevil. Elektra appears for the first time in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on an original character reinterpretation by renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita.

The ninja strikes! Elektra is stealthy agility personified, striding across rooftops and preparing her lethal strike. The agent of the Hand is frozen in mid-stride with a tremendous amount of movement captured in the flowing tendrils of her hair and whipping sashes. In her supple hands Elektra wields her iconic weapons, twin deadly sais; with one held up behind her head the assassin points the other at her target. Elektra’s daring ninja costume consists of resplendent metallic red fabric that really stands out from her pale skin tone and black hair. Like those who have come before her Elektra has a beautiful Bishoujo styled face.

Sculpted by Goutaro Takeuchi, Elektra stands nearly 10 inches tall (in the Marvel Bishoujo 1/7th scale), perched on the edge of a Japanese castle with a Daredevil Onigawara, a gargoyle-like roof tile. Get her before she gets you!

Available December 2011.
