Lottie Person, a gorgeous and amazing fashion blogger known for her daily outfits and styling tips with a devoted fanbase all over the world. However behind the screen, Lottie’s life is a mess due to her horrible friends, recent breakup and allergies. Having to hide whenever she gets an allergic reaction, Lottie decides to try a new medication her doctor suggested. Assuming things were turning around for her, things suddenly turned for the worse.

SNOTGIRL #1 is Bryan Lee O’Malley‘s, creator behind Scott Pilgirm and Seconds, first venture towards a monthly comic series with newcomer artist Leslie Hung. The series has a fresh story that stand out as well as colorful art that blends perfectly with the story. The art manages to capture a balance of glamour and disgust suitably which makes Snotgirl an adorable series.

Overall, Snotgirl #1 is great take on today’s society especially regards to social media’s effect with one’s reality. Highly recommended for those that want to start reading and collecting comics, either for guys or gals.
