DARK KNIGHTS METAL #2 is an action-filled book that will make you fall of your chair while reading it. Scott Snyder has done a great job with integrating a lot of Batman history and making a sense of it all. While doing so, he also lays down the premise of of what Metal is all about. This issue finally provided a lot of answers to questions that readers asked since Dark Days: The Forge.
There are a lot of great panels in this issue. Transitions are getting better and the team of Greg Capullo and FCO Placencia is really amazing. Greg’s lines and FCO’s color pallet is a perfect combination. The full-page spread in this book is breathtaking.
With what has been laid down by this issue, I am excited to know what this creative team has in stall for us in the future. Dark Nights Metal #2 is a must buy, especially to Batman fans.
