Free Comics and colorful costumes weren’t the only things that are worth celebrating for this year’s Halloween Comic Fest but as people from WebsPinas, Flipgeeks, Comic Odyssey, and Fully Booked celebrated the newest Spider-Man-centric crossover event by Marvel Comics, Spider-Verse along with the cosplay group of the same name for this year’s Halloween Comic Fest as the event celebrated everything Spider-Man.

They kicked off the program with a trivia contest where 5 teams of Spider-Man fans webheads test their superior intellect on everything that is to know about the Spider-Man mythos, A Spider-Verse art contest where talented artists make their own alternate version of Spider-Man, and a toy gallery dedicated to more than 30 years of Spider-Man’s miniature existence in all shapes and sizes from his days at Toybiz, to Hot Toys, and even Mighty Muggs (you don’t see a lot of those things anymore).

A number of sensational Spider-Men and Women went above and beyond the edge of the Spider-Verse to go out as different incarnations of Spider-Man’s different appearances in comic books, television, and films and team up together under one roof. It was only a matter of time when the place was crawling with spiders and the room be considered as “Spider Infested”.

In the end, it was a spectacular celebration for everything that is Spider-Man for this year’s Halloween Comic Fest with an epic yet amazing gathering of friendly neighborhood wall crawlers and web-heads swinging by and be part of a day fun-filled activities.

Spider

Spider-Verse will start in November 2014 with Amazing Spider-Man #9 on sale November 5th.
