After a week of thrilling cinematic excellence from Mapuans and other colleges’ students alike, CineMapua 2015 closed its curtains with a special awards night last February 4, 2015, at the Mapua Institute of Technology’s gymnasium.

The program consisted of a formal dinner for its guests, coupled with performances from some of the institute’s best performers, and a recognition of the people who made this year’s iteration possible. The jurors also graced the event with their presence, as they shared their thoughts regarding the evolution of filmmaking, and of CineMapua as a whole. The jury included veteran directors Aloy Adlawan and Milo Alto Paz, screenwriter Enrique V. Ramos, and Mapua Institute of Technology admin officers Dr. Bonifacio T. Doma Jr. and Dr. Alvin Caparanga. VIPs from the institute came as well to show their support for the formal event.

It was crowd-favorite Uban from FEU-Manila who bagged most of the awards for the Inter-Collegiate Category, including the much coveted Best Festival Film Award. On the other hand, Tubigan outshined most entries in the All Mapuans Category and claimed the Best Festival Film spot for the said block.
