“I started playing videogames 10 years ago, I was 4 or 5 years old, and my first game was Tekken 3. I’ve been in to fighting games ever since so yes that was the game that gave me the start into this kind of passion. But since then it died a bit, but credits to Playbook they brought the fire back again. Here I am now commentating with them, helping them, and competing and hopefully by next month I get to go to Singapore to compete to the Southeast Asia Majors, an event of Capcom Pro Tour.

Do you still remember your first competition?

“I was having the jitters, I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know what to expect, I knew I was gonna get destroyed. And true enough I got destroyed because in the first match I had to fight one of the strongest players in the country known as PBE l Don. But it was actually a very humbling experience for me. This was just last year. The camaraderie between me and Playbook is very good, I came from a simple player to becoming a very regular player and y’know hopefully I get to achieve these ranks with these pro-players. It’s a slow process, like I said I started from a casual player to someone a bit decent and I hope to evolve as someone who actually has the guts to compete with top-level players.”
