ESGS Gets Teased at PGF 2014!
GameX and Mineski took it to Pinoy Gaming Festival yesterday to introduce not the just the qualifying tournaments for their upcoming series of games, but also for the highly anticipated gaming show of the year – the eSports and Gaming Summit, or ESGS.
Touted as RP’s biggest gaming event, ESGS aims to “combine eSports competition and gaming trade show into one big event,” as previously announced by SMM Philipines’ Event Manager Joebert Yu. Attendees will not only be able to enjoy competitive matches from popular games such as Dota 2 and Hearthstone, but also see and even test upcoming games and gadgets from different gaming companies and indie developers.
While we can expect several Philippine game developers to have booths at ESGS, SMM Philippines will also bring over international game developers to showcase their games. Names like Cherry Credits, Ankama, and Garena will be lending their support to the said summit.
As mentioned above, ESGS 2014 is set to hold nine different e-sports competitions to the floor including the eSports League (ESL) Hearthstone Philippine Finals, the ESL League of Legends Philippine Finals and the MPGL Ultra Street Fighter 4 Philippine Finals.

7. Point Blank Revolution
8. Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm
9. Tekken Tag Tournament 2
ESGS will be held from November 15 to 16 at halls three and four of the SMX Convention Center. The exact ticket pricing has not been confirmed yet.
