EVENT: The 2013 Comics and Cartoon Creators Workshop

Wanna be one of those cartoon artists, book illustrators, graphic artists? Are you looking for some sort of guidance or workshop, then look no further!

This year, Konsepto Events is greeting us with an early treat with their upcoming ‘2013 Comics and Cartoon Creators Workshop’. This event will be headed by Glass House Graphics Inc. (GHG), an international studio/agency of artists – painters, digital designers and illustrators, producing artwork for clients such as DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse, Hasbro, Disney and more! The event will be spearheaded by GHG’s David Campiti (CEO of GHG) and other GHG artists like Wilson Tortosa, Francis Nuguit, Jonathan Lau and Anthony Tan.

In this workshop, GHG artists will share their knowledge with regards to Visual Story Telling, Trading Card Art, Pencilling in Comics and other stuff. More importantly, according to the event organizers, David will be talking about Preparing Art Portfolio and even Licensing Art. Also, I got the chance to have a little chat with David and this is what he said to me –

“…I coach and teach and nudge for people to get better.”

Makes you excited huh?! I’m sure the GHG artists and David himself will talk about it in the event. Also, we’ll be raffling off 3 graphic novels during the event, so hopefully we’ll see you guys there! Check out other important details below:
