There is Something for Everyone at ASIAPOP COMIC CON 2016!

COSPLAYERS

One of the main events for AsiaPOP Comic Con is the cosplay competition. The Cosplay Authority Global Challenge (The CAGE) has combined local and international cosplayers as judges for this year’s competition. The cash prizes to be given away totals to $24,000.00.

ALODIA GOSENGFIAO

A cosplayer who needs no further introduction, Alodia Gosiengho has been cosplaying for the past 12 years and has won the hearts of local and international fans.

ANI MIA

Ani Mia-Black-Cat

Ani-Mia is an international cosplayer/writer and has been cosplaying since 2008. She writes for Otaku USA Magazine, which is the premiere print magazine about anime and manga in the US. Ani Mia does her own costumes which were inspired by her love of anime, comic books, and video games.

LINDZE MERRITT

Lindze-Merritt-2016-APCC

American cosplayer, Lindze Merritt is also a licensed skin care & makeup professional. She also has degrees in fine arts, business and aesthetics. She integrates her knowledge in her cosplay and also teaches her skills to other cosplayers. Lindze Merritt has been cosplaying for the over 17 years.

MYRTLE ABIGAIL SARROSA

Famously known for her stint as the Cosplay Cutie of Iloilo in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4, Myrtle Gail Sarrosa is also a cosplayer, a model, recording artist, VJ and actress.

RIDDLE

Riki-APCC-2016

Riki LeCotey aka Riddle has appeared and won a number of awards during her stay on the two seasons of Heroes of Cosplay. Riddle has been cosplaying for the past 14 years. She has also created the fundraiser, Cosplayer for Cause, which was a cosplay play calendar that had raised $30,000 with all of the proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross tsunami relief.

YUGANA SENSHI UON

Relatively new to the cosplay scene, Yugana Senshi Uon has already garnered respect and admiration for her works. She has been featured on different media sites such as The Straight Time Singapore for her “Cosplay Mummy”, the Heat Newspaper, SMOSH, SCG (Sexy Cosplay Girl), GeekXGirls and on TV. She is famously known for her cosplay as “Female Joker”. With less than a year in cosplaying, Yugana tells us that her love for self expression and love for art through cosplay has only just begun.
