Cammy and Birdie Start A British Invasion of STREET FIGHTER V!
For this year’s E3 expo, Capcom showcased a trailer for their upcoming Street Fighter V featuring two new, yet familiar faces being added to their roster of superstars.
Birdie, who has not been seen since Street Fighter Alpha 3 aside from his destructive chain with a tipped hook, has seemingly gained a few pounds but has not lost a step in his thuggish nature. Joining him will be fan favorite Cammy White, with looks as deadly her signature Spiral Arrow move. The two newly-announced faces will join Street Fighter mainstays Chun-Li and Ryu, the dreaded villain M. Bison, and a returning Charlie now going solely by his last name, Nash.
Capcom has also revealed that the first phase of their beta testing will begin on July 23rd, and the company is rumored to be testing the waters for cross-platform play within the Playstation 4 and the PC. Interested testers can sign up on the Street Fighter official website and throw Hadokens and Sonic Booms with the new mechanics in play to their heart’s content.
