E3 2014: Mortal Kombat X Brutal Gameplay Trailer
Netherealm Studios recently announced a cinematic trailer for Mortal Kombat X, the latest iteration in the bloody fighting game franchise. At the Sony E3 2014 Press Conference today, we are treated with a video showing the much awaited gruesome gameplay from the game.
The video shows fan favorites Scorpion and Sub-Zero battling to the death. In typical Mortal Kombat fashion, the fight featured X-ray moves that were first introduced in Mortal Kombat 9, a lot of broken bones, and some new gory fatalities. But what’s most interesting about our first look are two new characters. One is a female whose appearance seems to have bug features, while the other is a large brute with much smaller person riding on his back. The two unnamed characters are seen fighting each other on a dock.
Mortal Kombat X is scheduled for release on 2015 and will be available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
