FLIPGEEKS GAMES FOR THE MONTH: FEBRUARY 2016
Starting this February 2016, Flipgeeks will be providing you a list of all the game releases for every platform, every month. For the month of February, here are the list of titles that you can expect.
February 1
TALES OF SYMPHONIA HD - PC
TALES OF SYMPHONIA HD is a remastered version of the game released for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2004. This game is included in a long list of popular JRPGs for Bandai Namco.
February 2
ARSLAN: THE WARRIORS OF LEGEND – PS4, Xbox One
A tactical action game based on the manga “The Heroic Legend of Arslan” written by Yoshiki Tanaka. The series has 14 novels dating back to its original release on 1986. One of the famous novels in this series came out in 2013 and was done by Hiromu Arakawa (Full Metal Alchemist). Gameplay is familiar to Koei’s Dynasty Warriors.
DIGIMON STORY: CYBER SLEUTH – PS4, Vita
Digimon fans rejoice! The Digimon franchise is back with a new RPG, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. The game is part of Digimon’s Adventure 15th Anniversary. The game is set in cyberspace wherein Digital Networks Players became Digimon Tamers and investigate the mysterious phenomena surrounding the cyberworld.
COBALT – Xbox One
A slow-motion multiplayer, action platformer wherein you shoot, roll, and jump your way to victory. The game is based on a cyborg sent to uncover the mysterious vanishing of a human colony on an alien planet.
MEGADIMENSION NEPTUNIA VII – PS4
A Japanese role-playing game released exclusively for the Playstation 4. The game features new battle system and places strong emphasis on the posistioning of each characters. The game has a “next form” feature wherein characters is given an additional transformation and these transformations cause changes to combat styles and characters’ personality.

X-COM 2 – PC
The aliens are back! X-COM 2 is a turn-based tactical game and a sequel to X-COM: Enemy Unknown. The game takes place 20 years after the events of the original game and follows the game’s continuity that X-COM had lost the war.
February 6
DYING LIGHT: THE FOLLOWING – PS4, Xbox One, PC
Dying Light: The Following is the expansion to Techland’s zombie survival horror game, Dying Light. The expansion features new areas and the map will be as big as the original release. The Following also features fully customizable and upgradable dirt buggies along with a unique skill tree.
February 9
ASSASSINS CREED CHRONICLES: CHINA – PS4
ASSASSINS CREED CHRONICLES: RUSSIA – PC, Xbox One, PS4
Assassins Creed Chronicles is a new game in the Assassin’s Creed series. The gameplay is different from the previous games as Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is set on 2.5D plane like an action platform game. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is a trilogy beginning with China, followed by games in India and Russia.
NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 4 – PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One
The sixth installment to the Ultimate Ninja series, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a fighting game for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The game is based on the famous manga series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. The game features the final arc of the manga and making it the last installment of the franchise.
February 16
PROJECT X ZONE 2 – 3DS
Project X Zone 2 is a crossover RPG featuring famous characters from SEGA, CAPCOM and BANDAI.
STREET FIGHTER V - PC, PS4
A game that needs no further introduction, one of the highly anticipated release for 2016 is coming out this month. Street Fighter V is the latest game out of the Street Fighter franchise and will feature 16 characters at launch with four new additions to the series. New characters will still be developed after the release and will be added to the game through updates. It is reported that six additional characters will be added throughout 2016.
February 23
FAR CRY: PRIMAL – PS4, Xbox One, PC (March 2016 Release)
Far Cry: Primal is the first game in the Far Cry series to be set in the Stone Age. An action-adventure game that revolves around the story of Takkar, who starts the game as an unarmed hunter and eventually rises to be the leader of a tribe.
MEGAMAN LEGACY COLLECTION – 3DS
Mega Man Legacy Collection is a compilation of the first Mega Man games released for the NES from 1987 to 1994. The collection is released on the 3DS retaining its classic 8-bit graphics but optimized for display on the 3DS platforms. The game features original action and platfrom trials foe all skill levels and a Museum Mode that features all artworks and designs from the franchise.
