Here’s a List of Great Superhero Games You Can Play Right Now

The Batman: Arkham Franchise

For the longest time, fans have been yearning for a game worthy of the Dark Knight, a dream that Rocksteady Studios fulfilled upon their release of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The franchise does an immaculate job of putting the player in the caped crusader’s shoes. From picking out enemies one-by-one in in the shadows, to taking out a room full of thugs in close combat. The game even emphasizes on Batman’s powers of deduction, a trait most people seem to overlook. If you’ve yet to experience any of the Arkham games, you are missing out on what’s arguably the best superhero adaptation in any videogame. You can’t go wrong with any of the game in the franchise, even dare we say, Arkham Origins.

A remastered collection is in the works. It contains Game of the Year editions for both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City remastered using the Unreal Engine 4. Quite impressive considering Arkham Knight was done on UE3. Alas, this remaster has reportedly been delayed indefinitely. But you could at least look forward to  a VR Batman game from Rocksteady Studios and Telltale’s take on the caped crusader. I’m Batman.

Check out what we think about Batman: Arkham Knight in our review.
