MANILA HOSTS FIRST CFS INVITATIONAL 2016

Smilegate Worldwide with its subsidiary, Game Club (Crossfire, Love Beat and Weapons of War) cohosted by the leading eSports Organizer, ESL, hosts the first Crossfire Stars (CFS) Invitational Manila on October 15 to 16 at SMX Hall 3, SM Mall of Asia.

Crossfire (CF) is one of the top-grossing games in the Philippines. The online multiplayer First-person shooter (FPS) game has engaged Filipinos – and players worldwide – to fast-paced tactical strategic gameplays. Combined with comprehensive ranking systems and the significant team dynamic, the 5v5 league challenges players to develop fast reflexes and quick thinking skills.

With the constant spotlight of eSports to local gaming, it is with great pleasure that Game Club announces its first ever CFS Invititional Manila where four countries – Brazil, Vietnam, China, and the Philippines – will be competing for a prize pool of 30,000 USD.

Prior to the event (October 14) will be the Philippine National Finals wherein 16 teams will be fighting for a prize pool of 20,000 USD and the winning team will represent PH to the CFS Grand Finals in China.
The 3-day event is not only for gaming enthusiasts but encourages fans to join the Cosplay Competition with the theme of characters from the games – Crossfire, Love Beat, and Weapons of War. The competition shall give away cash awards with as much as up to 10,000PHP. Interested participants should have a game club account. Send the following details to events@gbplay.ph
