METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN Guns Out New E3 2014 Trailer!

Hideo Kojima sure is full of surprises. Not letting E3 2014 pass without a bomb to drop, Konami and Hideo Kojima Productions release a fresh trailer for their upcoming stealth-action epic, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Set nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes, Big Boss – now codenamed Punished Snake – forms a new covert militia group with the intent of finding the people responsible for the destruction of Militaires Sans Frontieres. As he undertakes his mission, he soon unearths the mystery surrounding the Metal Gear project, and his focus soon shifts from MSF to ending the potential threat of Gears.

This trailer will be shown once more at Microsoft’s E3 conference, along with a few announcements regarding Xbox One. Kojima also alludes that The Phantom Pain will be 200 times much larger and difficult to clear than Ground Zeroes.
