Nintendo Reveals 3 New Characters For SUPER SMASH BROS.!
Following the recent addition of Pac-Man to the character roster of Super Smash Bros. Wii U/ 3DS, Nintendo has announced three more playable characters for the game – Captain Falcon, Robin, and Lucina.
Super Smash Bros. currently has 36 confirmed characters, 10 of which are set to make their debut with the game’s release later this year. Fire Emblem Awakening characters Lucina and Robin will be joining the newcomers list, while Captain Falcon will be a returning character in the series.
The mascot fighting game will feature characters from different worlds and game universes, including famous Nintendo characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Zelda, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wii Fit Trainer, Sonic, Pikachu, Charizard, and Greninja.
Although Chrom made an appearance in Nintendo’s special video reveal for the three characters, he will not be joining the game as a playable character. Fan favorite Rayman will also be included in the game as a trophy, with no news yet on whether or not he will be made playable as well.
Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS will launch October 3, while the Wii U version is scheduled to arrive sometime within the holiday season.
