PODD in Game Developers Conference & Game Connection America (GAME CON)

To mark another exciting year in the game development industry, PODD will be joining 19,000 other attendees in this year’s Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) & Game Connection
America 2012. Both events are happening from March 5 to 9, 2012 at the Moscone Center & Sir Francisco Drake Hotel in San Francisco, California.

The GDC is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio
professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the game development industry to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry. Over 400 lectures, tutorials, and round-table discussions are slated in this upcoming event. Game Connection, meanwhile, is a similar convention, but more focused on business development. It serves as an international marketplace for providers and publishers looking to expand their network and find the right business partners.

“PODD is all ready to broaden our perspective and explore the possibilities of collaborating with other game publishers,” says their President/CEO Christine Rom. “We’d like to be at the forefront, and we see this as an opportunity to showcase the exciting projects we’ve done so far as well as learn more about others.”

Just recently, PODD, has released an update to their edutainment app, Lil Kitten Shopping Cart Game. First launched in April 2011, the game has had been featured as New and Noteworthy in iTunes and has received rave reviews from kids, parents and educators alike. Aside from IP development, PODD’s core focus is in developing casual games for an extensive clientele that includes the National Geographic, Venus Williams, Jimmie Johnson, to name a few.

PODD is looking forward to exploring new partnerships with new clients. To set up a meeting
