Sony Releases GAMESCOM 2014 Teaser!
Sony released a short trailer last Tuesday, August 5, teasing what could possibly be a game announcement for its Gamescom 2014 appearance.
The 10-second trailer depicts a snowflake being spattered with blood while floating in the air. At the end of the video the hashtag #PlayStationGC is flashed, hinting that this might lead to an announcement for a new PlayStation title at Gamescom.
Various hypotheses regarding the teaser’s meaning have began to appear on social media following its release – some of the more popular guesses pertaining to Resident Evil 7 and Until Dawn, a PlayStation Move slasher announced at Gamescom 2012.
Gamescom 2014 will take place in Cologne, Germany from August 13 – 17, with Sony’s press conference scheduled to happen on August 11 at 10AM Pacific Time.
