WIZARDS OF THE COAST Releases MAGIC 2015 on the iPad and More!
Rejoice MTG fans! Wizards of the Coast (aka the same people who brought us Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and Kaijudo) has exclusively released Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers on the iPad last July 9, 2014.
Wizards of the Coast confirmed later that they will release the said game on July 16 to other platforms such as: Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android (on Google Play), and PC (via Steam). If that hasn’t made you excited yet, then you’d probably be psyched to know that the Magic 2015 core set will be up in the stands on July 18.
Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers basically is a strategy game wherein the goal is to beat the deadliest hunter in the Magic Multiverse: Garruk Wildspeaker (not to mention his soul is also corrupted by the Curse of the Chain Veil – but no big deal, right?). Wizards call it, “being at the heart of the game” as you are thrown (quite literally too) in the wilderness with Garruk hunting you down. Since his soul and body are corrupted, Garruk has shunned away his hunter’s instincts and has the planeswalkers (that’s you) as his next target.
What’s got magic enthusiasts pumped up is the full, open-ended deck building! In other words, you can now customize your deck on your preference in contrast to Duels 2014. Deck customizing is also one of the key features in playing.
