GIGABYTE Reveals New Z8Z Motherboards

Gigagbyte has now revealed three new Z87 based motherboards from their lineup. These are the mini-ITX Z87Z-WiFi, the Z87X-UD4H, and the Z87X-UD5H.

Starting with the Z87N-WIFI, it is a mini-ITX motherboard that has the following specifications:

Gigabyte z87n-wifi
  • Two DDR3 DIMM slots
  • Single PCIe x16 3.0 slit
  • Four SATA3 ports
  • One mPCIE slot (populated with a WIFI card that would run on Wirelesss 802.11ac standard)
  • Rear I/O connectivity controlled by two USB 2.0 ports
  • Two HDMI ports
  • One DVI port
  • One Legacy PS/2 port
  • Four USB 3.0 ports
  • Two Gigabit Ethernet ports
  • 7.1 channel HD analogaudio accompanied by an optical TOSLINK output.

Next is the Z87X-UDH4. This new motherboard offers a good 16-phase VRM design, which is powered through an 8-Pin EPS connector. Other specifications are:

  • Three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots
  • Three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots
  • Legacy PCI port
  • Four DDR3 memory banks
  • Eight SATA ports.
  • Rear I/O connectivity, controlled by six USB 3.0 ports
  • HDMI port
  • DisplayPort
  • Legacy VGA port
  • DVI port
  • Two eSATA ports
  • Gigabit Ethernet port
  • Legacy PS/2 port
  • 7.1 channel HD analog audio w/ optical TOSLINK output

Last of the newly revealed Gigabyte mothers boards is the Z87X-UD5H. It is almost similar with the UD4H, it also features the same VRM desgin, memory banks and expansion slots. Other features of the motherboard are:

  • Two additional SATA ports
  • FireWire header with second Gigabit Ethernet connector
  • VGA port is replaced with a second DVI port
There are no solid news on pricing but we can expect around $150 plus on the UD4H and UD5h. Check back Flipgeeks for more tech and gadget news!
