The movie’s star- studded cast – Zac Efron from “The High School Musical Trilogy,” Anna Kendrick and Adam Devine from “Pitch Perfect” and Aubrey Plaza from “Scott Pilgrim vs The World” – is what makes “Mike and Dave Needs Wedding Dates” enjoyable!

Its very simple plot kicks off with two hardcore partying brothers ( Efron and Devine) placing an online ad on Craigslist to find the perfect dates to their little sister’s Hawaiian wedding for the weekend. The ad went viral, but no one was found to be the perfect pair to bring to Hawaii until two bizzare bestfriends (Kendrick and Plaza) appeared and used this opportunity to get a free vacation.

Without its star- studded cast, the movie’s seemed to only have been left with minimal content, cheap slapstick, and daring humor.

The theatrical poster may deceive you into thinking that the movie was a a chick flick with partiers getting drunk from a party the night before, but fortunately it is more than that. It is surprisingly a love story with a tinge of melodrama in the end.

Despite the movie’s a poor content with its few hit and miss jokes, the lead cast’s performance is its redeeming quality! Kudos to the cast, for they make this movie worth your while.
