8. The Little Prince/Le Petit Prince
The Little Prince was also released last year, but I would also consider it as one of the best. A modern day rendition of the Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s beloved tale. The Little Prince helps us identify with the characters more, because the filmmakers made the main setting modern day with a twist of magic and imagination. Definitely one of the top animated films last year!
