300: Rise of an Empire Trailer Revealed!
Following the huge success of 300, this 2014 we will finally get to see the much awaited sequel “Rise of an Empire”. Produced by none other than Zack Snyder himself, we will be treated to more blood and rampage on epic proportions. The story will follow a timeline right after the gruelling war between Spartans and Persians lead by Leonidas and Xerxes respectively. After Leonidas’ death in the first movie, the film will now focus on Themistocles and Artemesia I of Caria. Greek general Themistocles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war against Xerxes and his naval commander Artemesia.
The epic saga would now take the grand battle to the sea and would still bring the same breathtaking visuals of the first installment. Fans of the original would also be happy to know that the movie will also shed some light to how Xerxes I of Persia got the majestic title of “God King” as this film would also show us a bit of his origin.

The film is directed by Noam Murro, from a screenplay by Zack Snyder & Kurt Johnstad, based on the graphic novel Xerxes, by Frank Miller.
