After International Success, PACIFIC RIM May Get Sequel After All

Good news for all you Jaeger and Kaiju lovers, Pacific Rim‘s success in the box office may generally pave way for the sequel that director Guillermo Del Toro and original screenwriter Travis Beacham planned. The opening in China last Wednesday set a record $9 million for Warner Bros, an amount 23% higher than any of the ‘Harry Potter’ movies. It was also the #1 film internationally on July 19-21.
