Another TOY STORY sequel coming this 2017
We may just reach the infinity as Disney-Pixar announces another sequel of the Toy Story franchise.
On Thursday, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced during an earnings call about the company that they will release Toy Story 4 on June 2017.
Doing the upcoming installment is the director of the first two Toy Story films, John Lasseter.
Coming only second to Frozen among the highest grossing animated feature films of all time, it makes sense from a business standpoint as to why there will be another sequel as Toy Story 3 was Pixar’s most successful film, bringing in a total of $1.06 billion in global box office.
As of press time, there’s no word yet as to how the storyline of Toy Story 4 will go or who will return to voice our well-beloved characters.
