A Beloved Classic: Memorable Human Characers from Christopher Robin

Who couldn’t remember the Silly Old Bear, Winnie the Pooh? Walt Disney Studios has released a new extended sneak peek for ‘Christopher Robin’, starring Ewan McGregor and Hayley Atwell.

In the heartwarming live-action Disney’s Christopher Robin, the young free spirited boy who loved going on adventures in the Hundred Acre Woods, has been “adulting”and lost his touch. Christopher Robin who is now stuck in a mundane life of adulthood will get a surprise visit from his old friends to remind him to be playful boy he used to be.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (Ewan McGregor) is now grown up and living in midcentury London. As an efficiency manager at Winslow Luggage, he juggles long hours in the office with his commitments at home and has all but forgotten the endless days of wonder and make-believe that defined his childhood.

EVELYN ROBIN (Hayley Atwell) is the wife of Christopher Robin. She personifies home and love and holds the family together. She worries about her husband being a workaholic and constantly being absent at home.

MADELINE ROBIN (Bronte Carmichael) is the young daughter of Christopher Robin. Much like her dad, she has a big imagination too.  Madeleine longs for her father, but he wants her to focus on more important things like her studies.

This heartwarming tale will surely take us back to our childhood. Always remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Disney’s Christopher Robin is directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Alex Ross Perry and Allison Schroeder and a story by Perry based on characters created by A.A. Milne. The producers are Brigham Taylor and Kristin Burr with Renée Wolfe and Jeremy Johns serving as executive producers.

The film debuts in Philippine theaters on August 1, 2018.
