First Official Photo of KAMIKI RYUNOSUKE as SETA SOUJIRO Revealed

We’ve already seen the photo below of Takeru Sato who will be reprising his role as Kenshin Himura a.k.a Battousai in the upcoming sequels of Rurouni Kenshin entitled Kyoto Taika Hen (The Great Kyoto Fire) and Densetsu no Saigo Hen (The Final Moments of a Legend).

But here’s a new one: the first still of Kamiki Ryunosuke as Seta Soujiro has just been revealed.

Kamiki Ryunosuke, known for his voice acting in films such as Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and Arriety and his roles in several movies and tv series such as Kamen Rider Agito and Kazoku Game, will be playing the role of Shishio Makoto’s right hand man, a prodigy who has earned the nickname Heaven’s Sword or Tenken in the original manga and anime and utilizes a special skill called shukuchi. Whether we’ll be seeing the light-footed swordmaster’s special moves in the upcoming movies, we’re not sure but news is Ryunosuke said his preparations included dyeing his hair and practice for the action scenes.

Fujiwara Tatsuya will be taking the role of Juppongatana leader Shishio Makoto while Iseya Yusuke will join the cast as Oniwabanshu‘s head Shinomori Aoshi and Tsuchiya Tao as Makimachi Misao. Directed by Keishi Otomo, the sequels will cover the original manga’s Kyoto Arc and are expected to be released in Japan on summer 2014.
