Countdown to Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles: A Look Back at What the Ninja Turtles Were

The turtles in a half-shell will back in the big screen under the management of Michael Bay’s production studios. Michael Bay‘s announcement of the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action movie adaptation, which are speculated to be entitled as “Alien Turtles” was negatively received by both TMNT fans and film fans alike. Some hardcore fans didn’t like Michael Bay‘s take on the Transformers film franchise, and most of them assume that Bay will once again do what he did with another childhood icons with his version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

While many hated the idea of Michael Bay handling the latest adaptation of the Ninja Turtles, there are still some of us who want to see how Bay’s production company will tackle this much beloved 80’s to 90’s iconic series. Well if ever Bay’s Turtle film does meet everyone’s disappointment and expectation that it will suck, let’s just take a few steps back and see how the first few film adaptation of the Ninja Turtles performed in the past.
