RUMOR: WB Eyes Jaden Smith For STATIC SHOCK
Following the news of a planned live-action Static Shock series from Warner Bros., online outfit Flickering Myth reckons that the production’s top contender for the titular role could be Will Smith’s son, Jaden.
The live-action adaptation of the said comic book series was announced in the works a few days back as part of an initiative dubbed “Blue Ribbon Content”, with Django Unchained producer and Reginald Hudlin on board. With Jaden’s parents Jada Pinkett Smith stealing scenes in Gotham, and father Will closing in to a deal for Suicide Squad, this rumor might come to reality.
Jaden’s filmography include Karate Kid and his recent sci-fi outing, After Earth.
Nothing has been confirmed from WB regarding the details of the project.
