A Wedding Host Returns In GAME OF THRONES Season Five!

In Westeros, weddings are more than just an affair. The infamous Red Wedding was a complete shock to the viewers, the mere fact that that the feast itself seemed cheerful as an event where old friends and family got together and then the next moment, a ruckus burst out like thunder; and carried a good amount of reactions on social media sites.

David Bradley, best known in the audience as the cranky caretaker Argus Filch in Harry Potter series comments on the Red Wedding and his return on the fifth season of Game of Thrones:

“I’ve had people winding their car windows down and shouting at me. [laughs] …They shout, “I can’t forgive you for what you’ve done!” Michael McElhatton (“Roose Bolton”), who was my co-conspirator in the Red Wedding, when we finished the scene, we both agreed that we might just stay off the street for a few days. [laughs]

I bumped into David Benioff and a few of the Starks that I, um, got rid of at Comic Con in San Diego last year, and we all had a meal and a drink. And they said, “Oh, we’ll be seeing you again soon.” Obviously not in the fourth season, but I’m sure there’s some kind of retribution waiting for me somewhere down the line. But I like to think he gets away with it. [laughs]”

On the books, we last saw Lord Walder orchestrating the bloodbath. But considering that George R.R. Martin has given the outline of the last two novels to the showrunners, its very likely that the show could also include a closure or some kind of repercussion on the Red Wedding, which could also expand Lady Stoneheart and the Brotherhood’s roles or another wild guess would be taking Emmon Frey’s role on Jaime’s Riverlands storyline(If it gets included) but anything’s possible at this moment.

Game of Thrones Season 5 will air sometime next year.
