Two More Actresses Join “Star Wars Episode VII” Cast

With the announcement of the seventh installment of the beloved space saga by George Lucas – Star Wars, reunited fans and alike, which lead to speculations, who will return? What will be the premise? Etc and the following months brewed more and more exciting news, from the Original Trilogy cast, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher Returning and another cast update, revealing the principal cast: Domhall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Max Von Sydow, John Boyega and Andy Serkis.

Following cast announcements, two more actresses have joined:Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong’o, who made her breakthrough in, 12 Years A Slave and Gwendoline Christie, who is also known to TV viewers as Brienne of Tarth in the HBO hit series of Game of Thrones.

“I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendolinejoining the cast of Episode VII” says Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. ”It’s thrilling to see this extraordinary talented ensemble taking shape.”

Considering the return of the Original Trilogy cast members and new players on board, the ensemble has lots of potential carrying a dynamic façade on screen.

Star Wars Episode VII will be opening on theaters at December 18, 2015.
