We Just Watched 30 Minute Preview for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 And…

We were invited to a special screening of a 30-minute preview for the upcoming “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” a few days ago, weeks ahead of the actual movie release on April 30. I’m gonna say something about it so.. MINOR SPOILER ALERT!

I’m a fan of comic books and comic book movies, and I know that ASM2 is one of our most anticipated movies of the year (check out our list here) and the preview was something that would either lose my interest in the sequel, or get my hopes up even more. But when the viewing ended, the first thing that came to mind is that the trailer doesn’t really show it’s amazing potential and that movie-goers will be in for a treat.

The preview consisted of three clips that include Peter Parker fully embracing the role as the city’s hero and protector (oh boy, he really IS Spider-Man at this point), more of the Peter-Gwen romance, and a look at the two villains of the movie. People will definitely love what they’ll see, it’s very CG-heavy, action packed, and will truly give viewers a new Spidey-experience (yes, you should probably watch this in 3D).

So don’t forget the date – MAY 30!!!! Let the waiting game begin!!!
