RUMOR: Deathstroke Found for SUICIDE SQUAD Film?
A big rumor has made the rounds today, courtesy of Umberto Gonzalez of Latino Review. It seems that a Deathstroke has been found for the upcoming Suicide Squad film, directed by David Ayer. Gonzalez notes on his Instagram account that Joe Manganiello had “probably” landed the coveted role of mercenary Slade Wilson.
Manganiello is known for his roles on movies such as Magic Mike, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, and in the world of comic book movies, he’s known as playing the role of Flash Thompson in the original Spider-Man film, released in 2002.
Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5, 2016. The movie will star Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevigne and Jared Leto among others.
