Moffat On Upcoming Massive Cliffhanger for DOCTOR WHO!
The latest series for Doctor Who hasn’t started yet but news of a cliffhanger is already out!
On the issue #475 of DWM (Doctor Who Magazine) the show runner was asked how far in advance he plans, he replies: “One season at a time, largely. I suppose, I had a fair amount of Trenzalore worked out (the Doctor trapped in a war for a thousand years) when I wrote The Eleventh Hour, but that’s really the exception.”Moffat continues his answer “Sitting here, right now, just before the finale shooting block, I’ve figured out the cliffhanger to the penultimate episode of the next series. And it’s a whopper. Ohh, I don’t think you’ll see this coming!”I think that a cliffhanger is best experienced when you have no idea that it’s coming. Sure you’d know that there is always a cliffhanger at the end, but announcing it before the latest series even starts is something else.
Any ideas on what it will be? Doctor Who Season 8 will air on August 2014.
