War Ignites in New GAME OF THRONES Season 7 Trailer
The horns of war and the winds of winter have began to harken their presence, as HBO finally unveils the trailer for the penultimate season of the award-winning TV epic Game of Thrones.
The new footage kicks off with Cersei (Lena Headey) acknowledging the fact that her throne is dangerously close to being taken by enemies from all corners of Westeros. However, if Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Peter Baelish (Aidan Gillen) or anyone else hopes to put some kind of plan in motion, they’re going to have to deal with their own set of problems much closer to home.
The teaser goes on to feature intriguing glimpses of both new and returning characters, before concluding with a shot of one of Dany’s dragons, who has seemingly grew larger.
Unlike previous seasons of the series, the seventh entry will only feature seven episodes, with the final season closing with eight, totaling the show’s remaining chapters to fifteen.
Game of Thrones is set to premiere July 16, 2017 on HBO.
