WB Releases New GREEN LANTERN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Teaser Trailer

WB and DC Comics has released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” which features the exploits of Hal Jordan and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps.

My opinions later, check out the official teaser trailer below:

Starring the voices of Josh Keaton, Michael Clarke Duncan, Richard Green and Robert Englund, Green Lantern: The Animated Series is billed not as a rehash of the superhero’s origins, but rather as “the continuing adventures Hal Jordon and his comrades of the Green Lantern Corps”: “As Earth’s Green Lantern, Hal Jordan is used to being in dangerous situations—but he’s never faced anything like this! Set at the farthest reaches of deep space, Hal must face down an invasion from the Red Lantern Corps. Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space — and the Green Lantern Corps itself!”

Okay, opinion time. the teaser and animation quality looks really horrible, atrocious even. While it was great that they retained the Batman: the Animated Series style and approach, the CGI is crap-tastic. I’d say REBOOT was even better or even. Star Wars: The Clone Wars demands a lot more respect suddenly because of this awful looking trailer.
