YOUNG JUSTICE: DC’s New TV Show?

There are reports online that DC’s Young Justice is being developed for a live action tv drama on the CW Network. First reported on Bleeding Cool’s site: “Bleeding Cool has been led to believe by a recently-reliable source that the CW is developing another live action teen drama/romance series with a superhero twist, based on the Young Justice cartoon, games and comics, being prepped for 2015.”

The CW is the network that houses DC/WB shows such as Smallville and currently Arrow.  Young Justice was last seen as a animated show on Cartoon Network however was suddenly cancelled earlier this year.  With the recent development on Arrow this news could have a strong possibility of becaming a reality. It has been confirmed that Flash would make an appearance on the show this seaon with rumors circulating online that Nightwing might soon find his way to television soon. Roy Harper (Arsenal/Red Arrow) is already part of the cast and Arrow just might be the launching pad for Young Justice. It was confirmed that the Flash would have his own tv show after his appearance on the show.

The Young Justice

In the past, Smallville had also introduced characters from the DC universe to be part its TV show. Time would only tell until we get official confirmation from DC or the CW network confirming the production of the live drama version of Young Justice. If this doesn’t push through it wouldn’t be bad if DC could just bring back even the Young Justice animated series. Young Justice animated series storylines and animation could even be better than most live drama shows we have today.
