American Vampire Anthology Comes This August – To Feature A-List Creators
American Vampire is still in hiatus, but Scott Snyder, Rafael Albuquerque and Vertigo still has a lot of good stuff for us. Although American Vampire: The Long Road to Hell will help us pass the time until next month, Vertigo just announced the release of the American Vampire Anthology in August.
The anthology will be an 80-page one shot special, that will be released on August 7 for $7.99 and will contain new short stories from the American Vampire mythos by talents like …. GREG RUCKA! JEFF LEMIRE! GAIL SIMONE! FABIO MOON! GABRIEL BA! BECKY CLOONAN!! RAY FAWKES, DECLAN SHALVEY and FRANCESCO FRANCAVILLA!!!!
It will also feature old and even introduce new characters. The main American Vampire book will return later this year.
