ASTRO BOY returns in OMNIBUS form!
The saga of the beloved creation of Osamu Tezuka will be re-released in omnibus form, as a perfect opportunity for long-time fans to rekindle their affinity for Astro Boy, and as an introductory read for younger generations.
Astro Boy Omnibus Volume 1 will be the first in a line of over-sized releases chronicling Astro Boy’s out-of-print adventures in a giant tote. First published in 1952, Astro Boy (called Mighty Atom in Japan) revolutionized storytelling and ushered in an era pioneered by its creator now hailed as “The Godfather of Manga”.
Dark Horse Comics will be releasing Astro Boy Omnibus Volume 1 on September 2015 and will include more than 700 pages of reprints from the original Astro Boy manga series.
