Christos Gage Replaces Mike Carey on X-Men Legacy But Still Retains Rogue

Marvel has officially revealed the next writer picking up the pieces after Mike Carey’s final issue for X-Men Legacy. The new creative team would be writer Christos Gage together with artist David Baldeon.

The new creative team will begin their run on X-Men Legacy # 260.1 which will also tell the story of why this new team chose to return to Westchester rather than stay with Cyclops on Utopia.

During NYCC, it was also revealed that the full team roster will consist of Rogue, Gambit, Frenzy, Phoenix, Cannonball, Husk and Iceman. Just like Carey’s run though, Rogue will still be leading the team but this time under the orders of Wolverine, the new headmaster for the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.

The difference though is that the new team won’t just be superheroes but will also act as the faculty members for the school teaching the future generation of mutants the right way of handling their powers.

For fans of Mike Carey you should also catch the last issue which is issue # 259 and # 260.
