To commemorate the theatrical release of Wonder Woman this June, DC Entertainment has officially declared June 3 as the first ever Wonder Woman Day. The celebration will honor the 75 year-long history of the beloved superhero around the world.

In the US, DC Comics has partnered up with retailers, such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon, for exclusive in-store promotions and activities.

As part of the celebration, DC Comics will be giving away free copies of two special issue in participating stores — Wonder Woman Day Special Edition #1, which reprints last year’s Wonder Woman #1 by Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp, and DC Super Hero Girls Wonder Woman Day Special Edition #1, which features a chapter from the upcoming DC Super Hero Girls Vol. 3 graphic novel by Shea Fontana and Yancey Labat. Plus, a downloadable Wonder Woman Day Activity Kit will be available.
