ED TADEO Sells Off Original Comic Art By Yu, Portacio, Medina & Tan
Ed Tadeo (Sigil, Jacara Zar), Filipino comic book artist, who has inked with comic books for most of his career over at Marvel Comics, announced that he will be selling his original comic art pages that he has collected over the years.
Tadeo marked, “These are just some of the pages I treasure, which I decided to sell.”
The pages are penciled by well-known Filipino comic book artists around the world – Leinil Yu, Whilce Portacio, Lan Medina and Philip Tan. He will be selling these following art:
-Uncanny X-Men pages by Whilce Portacio
-Wolverine pages by Leinil Yu
-Cable & Deadpool pages by Lan Medina
-Spawn: Godslayer pages by Philip Tan
Tadeo further detailed that you can avail them over at Comic Odyssey (Robinsons Mall Galeria branch). “You can browse 20 pages of arworks including a double-page spread by Lan Medina and me on Cable & Deadpool, which will be PhP2,000 (US$40) worth.”
“There are pages that I treasured in the portfolio, which were inked over the actual pencils of Leinil Yu on Wolverine. Those too are P1,000 (US$20) each. Now it’s your chance to own a vintage pieces of Leinil’s work.” Most pages would be priced at P1,000 (US$20).
It is first come first serve – no reservations basis. The sale starts tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 21.
