INTERNATIONAL IRON MAN #5 Reveals Tony Stark’s Birth Mother

This week’s International Iron Man #5 finally revealed the identity of Tony Stark’s biological mother, who turned out to be a totally new character. This major change in Tony Stark’s character started in Kieron Gillen’s Iron Man #17, revealing that he isn’t actually the son of Howard and Maria Stark as we’ve been led to believe all this time.
Since the seeds were planted fans have been speculating who the mother could be. But Marvel has kept silent on the issue for several years, until now. Apparently, Tony Stark’s biological mother is Amanda Armstrong, a London-based music producer. The most surprising thing about this revelation is the fact she’s a nobody, a departure from the trope of having connections to another superhero or another established character.
However, this is only an initial cliffhanger reveal, and a possible shocking backstory is yet to come. Plus, the unidentified biological father could possibly be the one whom Marvel would use for shock value.
