Jeph Loeb and Simone Bianchi Brings Back Sabretooth in Sabretooth Reborn
Wolverine‘s arch-enemy Sabretooth has been seemingly dead for quite a few years now after getting his head chopped off by Logan and the Muramasa blade. Marvel Comics has announced during the recently concluded C2CE 2012 that the story of how the man known as Victor Creed returned from the dead.
In real time Sabretooth has not made an appearance in Marvel books for a total of five years. His hiatus was done during Loeb’s run on “Wolverine” where the two battled it until Creed’s neck got sliced off. This was an important issue since this was where Creed also mentions the name “Romulus” for the first time.
This year we’ve seen several Sabretooth appearances including the pages of “Wolverine”. He also made an appearance in Wolverine and the X-Men # 8.
Loeb also teased that Cloak and Dagger will play a huge role in the return as well as Romulus. He adds that if people know the Greek mythology story of Romulus then they’ll already have an idea of what’s coming…
