Marvel Teases “The End Is FOURever” and “No More Mutants”

The rumor going around for a while about Marvel cancelling titles involved in Fox’s movie rights acquisition might actually be true. At the end of the recent secret retailer presentation at New York Comic-Con 2014, Marvel teased two titles that lead to the end of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, two of the franchises whose movie rights are with Fox. The news seems to be confirmed by ComicBook.com, who have attended the event.

The End is FOURever.

The End is FOURever alludes to the Fantastic Four being cancelled next year. And the X-Men appears to suffer the same fate as the FF with No More Mutants, the famous phrase by Scarlet Witch.

No More Mutants

The “Fox boycott” by Marvel has been consistently reported by popular rumor/news site Bleeding Cool. According to them, Marvel CEO Isaac Perlmutter has a personal vendetta against 20th Century Fox, and thus ordered to cease all activities involving the franchises owned by Fox. Ever noticed why the recent X-Men: Days of Future Past film never received any marketing and merchandise items from Marvel themselves?

No further details have been revealed at this point.
